Very Busy Visit to Colorado!!
Day One-
In the morning a visit to the Botanical Gardens in Denver. There was a glass exhibit by Chihuly throughout the gardens. It was spectacular!
Later in the day we took the rail train from the hotel to 16th street in downtown Denver for some shopping.
Day Two-
Road the Royal Gorge Rail through a gorge along the Arkansas River. We ate lunch on the train.
Another opportunity for shopping in Colorado Springs Historic District.
Our last adventure was driving through Garden Of the Gods. It was breath taking.
I think we will both sleep well!

Hello Colorado
Stopping to visit my friend Ann for a few days. It wasn't the same checking in without Ava and Milo. I only needed to carry one small bag to my room! :-)
Good-Bye California...
More importantly good-bye for now to my friend. We made a great traveling pair! I was glad to go for the ride/adventure! It was fun!! I can't wait to visit!

Our last night of traveling.
It's the best place by far!
1. On Route 66
2. The view is great
3. On the first floor
4. We could back up the car to the door
5. The bathtub drains!!
Last lunch stop!
It was very hot (but dry heat...:) and windy. Ava joined us on her leash at the table.
Cruising through a new state.
We just passed through Las Vegas. It is 104 degrees!!!! Trying to get to the California state line before we have lunch.
